AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS & KIDS’ EVENTS

Looking for a unique, social, and educational after-school experience for your child? We believe that board games develop critical thinking skills that will last them a lifetime, and are a ton of fun in the meantime. We offer classes that will introduce kids to a variety of games, from ancient strategy to modern empire-building and everything in-between. Those looking for a more immersive experience may want to try our Teen D&D Night, where players will create unique characters and play story-based games like Dungeons & Dragons with our experienced staff. And stay tuned for our upcoming Game Design Master Class!

After-School Board Game Club

Main St. Board Game Cafe is excited to offer our after-school board game club! In these 2-hour sessions, kids will learn a wide variety of strategic games from our expert staff while having a blast with friends.

Starting with simple puzzle games such as Othello and Abalone and progressing to complex, multi-layered games ranging from Catan to Smash Up to Pandemic, students will boost their game knowledge in a fun, caring, and individualized environment. Game choices are custom-picked for each age group and carefully selected to highlight a range of cognitive skills. We believe that playing games face-to-face helps kids develop their social, critical thinking, and creative skills in a totally unique way, and we can’t wait to share our game knowledge with a new generation!
